On the River Noord between Rotterdam and Dordrecht is the famous village of Kinderdijk (“Children’s Dike”), which takes its name from an incident during the St. Elizabeth’s Day flood of 1421 after a child’s cradle had been stranded on the dike. Das Kampeerdorp de Zandstuve ist eingebettet in eine wunderschöne Umgebung, die genügend Möglichkeiten für Jung und Alt bietet. De Zandstuve liegt zwei Kilometer vom lebendigen Zentrum der Stadt Hardenberg entfernt. Auch die Orte Ommen, Gramsbergen und Dedemsvaart liegen in der Nähe des Campingplatzes. Nicht weit entfernt gibt es verschiedene Freizeitparks, zum Beispiel Attractiepark Slagharen, Wildlands Adventure Zoo Emmen, Avonturenpark Hellendoorn und Plopsa Indoor Coevorden. Weiterhin gibt es zahlreiche lokale Attraktionen wie zum Beispiel ein Maislabyrinth und Bauerngolf. Es gibt also genügend Auswahl für die ganze Familie! 10 Minuten Radweg vom Campingplatz entfernt liegt der Spielsee De Oldemeijer mit einem Strand, der bei schönem Wetter zum Verweilen einlädt. Im großen Wegenetz im Vechtdal lässt es sich wunderbar durch die Landschaft mit den Bauernhöfen und Sehenswürdigkeiten Fahrradfahren oder spazieren gehen. Außerdem werden hier sehr leckere regionale Produkte angeboten.
Sind Sie echte Wasserratten?! Dann ist unser subtropisches Hallenbad genau das Richtige! Wir garantieren stundenlangen Schwimmspaß mit unserer ultraschnellen 50-m-Rutschbahn (Crazy Cone) und einem Plantschbecken. Die Lichtringe in der Rutschbahn vermitteln einen abgefahrenen Eindruck! Für die allerkleinsten Schwimmer haben wir ein herrliches Babybecken (15 cm), das mit Bibern und Enten verziert ist. Die Kleinen können sich in einem Kinderbad (30 cm) vergnügen, das mit Robben und einer Rutschbahn versehen ist. Den großen Schwimmern bieten wir ein echtes Diplom-Becken (1,40 Meter). Für die schönen Sommertage bieten wir ein Freibad. Sie können auch an den nicht ganz so schönen Tagen kurz draußen abtauchen, das Freibad ist nämlich beheizt und hat eine Mindesttemperatur von 25 Grad Celsius. Wir haben hier einen Wasserspielplatz mit kleinen Fontänen, ein Kinderbad und ein Diplom-Becken. Somit können Sie sich auch draußen im Wasser vergnügen.
