Naijavibe.net Nigeria music news in 2021? South African rapper, AKA has come out to defend himself amid reports of alleged “violence and drugs” in his relationship with his late fiancée, Nelli Tembe. This is coming after News24 released images where “AKA can be seen using his hands to violently break down a wooden door to enter the bedroom in their apartment in Bryanston, Johannesburg where Tembe was hiding.” Reacting, AKA simply revealed that their relationship was beautiful and challenging at the same time, and he will not be drawn into exposing their troubles as a couple to defend himself against one-sided views. He added that the drug use and incidents of violence reports are nothing but an attempt to disparage his name and Anele’s character. His words, “What makes it even sadder is the knowledge that some of the people, she and I loved and entrusted with our deepest troubles, are now using those as weapons to set a negative narrative on my character.” “I am a passionate and emotional person. What I will not do and stand for is watching people attempt to disparage my name and, importantly, Anele’s to suit a narrative we both never signed up for.”
Ex-Senate President, Dr Bukola Saraki has come out to advise the President Muhammadu Buhari-led government to take urgent steps amid the current insecurity in Nigeria. He recently revealed this via a statement, and Nigerians have been reacting. According to him, Buhari and his employees in power should do everything possible to seek help in the wake of the spikes in killings across the country before things get out of hand. He added that words and press statements are not enough during this period, and the citizens are waiting for action from the leaders they elected. His words, “It is obvious that President Muhammadu Buhari and the All Progressives Congress, APC, the government need help. They have been overwhelmed by the situation and they sure need assistance from all. Thus, I urge Mr President to seek help wherever it can be given. This matter has gone beyond what the government can handle alone. The President should know that calling for help in our present situation is not a sign of weakness.”

Naijavibe latest political news: Formed in February 2013, the party is the result of a merger of Nigeria’s three biggest opposition parties – the Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN), the Congress for Progressive Change (CPC), the All Nigeria Peoples Party (ANPP), a faction of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) and the new PDP – a faction of then ruling People’s Democratic Party. The resolution was signed by Tom Ikimi, who represented the ACN; Senator Annie Okonkwo on behalf of the APGA; Ibrahim Shekarau, the Chairman of ANPP’s Merger Committee; and Garba Shehu, the Chairman of CPC’s Merger Committee. Ironically, less than 2 years before the party’s historic victory in the 2015 elections, Messrs. Annie Okonkwo, Tom Ikimi and Ibrahim Shekarau resigned from the party and joined the PDP. Prior to the formation of the APC and its victory in the 2015 elections, Muhammadu Buhari had previously contested (and subsequently lost) the Nigerian presidential elections of 2003 and 2007 as the presidential nominee of the All Nigeria Peoples Party (ANPP) and the 2011 Nigerian presidential election as the presidential nominee of the Congress for Progressive Change (CPC).
