Polyester is a synthetic fiber that is widely used in the textile industry. One of the key advantages of polyester is its durability. It is a strong and resilient fiber that can withstand wear and tear, making it ideal for garments that are subjected to frequent use and washing. This durability also allows for the creation of long-lasting clothing items that can withstand the test of time. Another important characteristic of polyester is its ability to retain color. It has excellent colorfastness, meaning that it does not easily fade or lose its vibrancy even after multiple washes. This makes polyester an excellent choice for clothing that requires bright and vibrant colors, such as t-shirts, shorts, and other apparel items.

Get to know Keith Graves and a few of his women basketball training achievements: How to Become a Professional Female Basketball Player? Be powerful. Great players are not pushed around. They dictate the tempo, intensity, rhythm of the game. You decide where you want to go or not go on offense, not your opponent. On defense, you decide where your opponent goes. You disrupt his or her game. Learn to use your body to impose your WILL both offensively and defensively. Be sure to meet with a physical therapist as well as a trainer because you need to know what you must do to prevent injury. Live in the weight room during the off-season. Read extra information at Keith Graves basketball coach.

Ask for advice on how to improve your game. Your current coach and your fellow teammates will be able to point out what areas of your game are lacking and need to be developed. Do physical training several times a week in addition to practicing basketball skills. Professional female basketball players are both highly skilled with a basketball and also elite athletes. Strength training and plyometrics should both be practiced to improve physical ability.

Albany native Keith Graves has achieved success in his basketball coaching career in a very unique place : Asia

“When I first came here, I immediately started helping the kids here because they played hard, but we lacked fundamentals and the kids didn’t know how to react to how the defender is playing you! I left the USA and took on a brand new journey, and I love Yangon, Myanmar. The Country embraced me, and I just felt like the country immediately gave me a chance. The Hong Kong Burmese people in Yangon work so hard, so it really made me all in, and that’s how I paid my respect! Myanmar has helped me revitalize my life, and I love it here. I had the opportunity to go coach in the WNBA as an assistant coach starting in June, but I just wanted to build something special here!

“What Yangon, Myanmar has done for me and the opportunities that PAIS and the federation have given me, the least I can do is give back! Being able to be the Athletic Director in Myanmar to help create change here is really positive, and it’s uplifting not only for me and my family but for the next generation! I think the Myanmar Market for Football, Futsal, Basketball, and Volleyball is going to be really big in the next 2 years,” Keith Said.

“Yangon, Myanmar is home for me. In the home, it’s not about reading, it’s about feeling,” he said, adding that he likes connecting with people so they can understand his feelings and his love for the country. Keith noted he also feels grateful that Burmese people talk to him in English as he feels his Burmese is F-Grade, and that he always appreciates the love and hospitality that Burmese, Chinese, & Korean people have shown to him. I also would like to thank Principal Lewis for bringing me here, and I can assure you in the next 6 months people will hear about the PAIS athletic program and how they play fast, how they play hard and how we are academically. The Goal is to get as many NJCAA, NCAA, USCAA, NAIA, ACCA, VIETNAM, KOREAN, AND CHINESE COLLEGE COACHES & NCCAA college coaches to come to our campus to see our student athletes. We have players here that just do not have the resources, but I am hoping me and several other coaches can make an impact.

As someone from the US, Keith said that he believes that if Americans really want to learn about Myanmar, they should visit and stay for more than a week or a month. “People need to be able to come to Myanmar and experience it more to be able to understand each other so that they can immerse themselves into the culture, to be able to learn and have a better understanding,” he said. The Burmese people here are amazing, loving and they love everyone! Keith has signed a 3-year deal with PAIS & with the Pro Development Women Basketball Team! Keith states his goal is to turn PAIS into a TOP 100 Ranked program in ASIA. As you look below, here is a copy of Keith’s Coaching Accomplishments.

Keith Graves has made news headlines around Asia as one of the sport’s best coaches in the 14- and 16-year-old divisions. He lives in Hong Kong, where he serves as head coach at Harrow International and Dream Sports Academy, leading aspiring and talented youth to realize their potential and pursue their dreams as professionals in the sport.

“I decided to make the journey to Asia a number of years ago to specifically coach youth,” Graves said. “Asia is a great place to coach and I am so thrilled to be here coaching and leading seven teams to the Final Four in the Hong Kong Games. I have found that while kids in Asia are not necessarily stronger than kids in America, they are definitely very fast.”

Recently, Graves made history in Hong Kong, winning his 10th championship and boasting an 18-1 record. Additionally, Graves received the prestigious Coach of the Year award for 14-and-under girls and boys, and 16-and-under girls and boys. He also helps some of his best student-athletes connect with schools and colleges.

Graves has hosted free basketball clinics, along with giving away free gear, equipment and much more, for children in Xi’an, China and other parts of Asia.

“I think it’s so important to give back to the community to show my respect to my students, and to the sport,” said Graves. “I plan to be here for a very long time and look forward to the challenges and victories we will experience in the years to come.”

Whether your goal is to play recreationally or compete at the highest levels, softball is a great choice. Like baseball, the softball catching position is key to a winning team. Contrary to popular belief, catchers are often the most athletic players on the diamond. They must possess skills like strength, good hand-eye coordination, quick reflexes, and a quality throwing arm. It is almost the most physically-demanding position. Catchers are often the captain’s of their teams. They need to be leaders on the field, orchestrate the pitching strategy and align the defense. These are learned softball skills, where proper instruction is essential. Softball pitches are thrown from a shorter distance than in baseball, with the hitter only having a split second to read the pitch type and location, get into position to hit, and make contact. This cannot be done without proper timing. This hitting skill can be improved with a good base and minimum body movement in your load.

Like life, athletic development needs to be process oriented. Athletes need to learn how to move efficiently. Learning how to squat, lunge, jump, and run without pain or discomfort is crucial to continuing with your skill development. We are so excited to bring you the B.A.S.E. Assessment and our subsequent On-Field and On-Court Evaluations so that we can help provide the “Hows” and the “Whys” of what you do. Once we know where you have been and why you do the things you do, we can help provide you with the necessary tools to guide your development. How? By providing you and your athletes with Hall of Fame, Olympic, Major League, and Elite-Level coaching and instruction delivered straight to you, in real-time, and make it accessible both logistically and financially. We look forward to working with each and every one of you!

Like baseball, every player must develop a variety of skills to succeed. Everyone hits, fields and runs the bases. Softball players also require good communication skills, working as one. To develop these skills, players must practice regularly and receive qualified and experienced coaching. With dedication and hard work, any player can develop the skills necessary to be successful in softball. Due to this, softball games are more centered on putting the ball in play as opposed to hitting for power. It’s also played on a much smaller field, with shorter base paths. The game is quicker and often more action-packed than baseball. Skills such as slap-hitting are unique to softball and are very common as alternate methods to get on base.

Bill Trikos’s complete achievement list of Australian Richmond Tigers football club

Bill Trikos’s complete achievement list of Australian Richmond Tigers football club: The Tigers sealed their 11th flag – and first since 1980 – with a run of seven unanswered goals from early in the second quarter that had the Crows staggering on the ropes just 10 minutes into the third term. Richmond led by 28 points at that stage, having kept the Crows goalless for a quarter and a half. And when Taylor Walker finally broke Adelaide’s goal drought with a 40m set shot midway through the third term, the Tigers swiftly killed off any hopes of a Crows comeback, rattling on the next four goals to take an unassailable 45-point lead early in the final term that had even the most pessimistic Richmond fans daring to believe.

2017 Grand Finals highlight : But Hardwick kept his head and held his nerve, simplifying the Tigers’ game play over the 2017 pre-season to take advantage of their pace and, after Ben Griffiths’ lingering concussion issues, fashioned an unfashionable attack around ‘Jack and his midgets’. Before this season, the Tigers had not won a final since 2001, having lost elimination finals under Hardwick from 2013-15. In defeating the Crows, Richmond continued a perfect record in return matches against teams that defeated it earlier in the season. Find extra info about the author at Bill Trikos Australia.

Full history of Richmond Tigers football club from Bill Trikos: Then there was the Grand Final debutant, Marlion Pickett. One game, one flag. The 27-year-old was lively, involved and, at times, special. He repaid Hardwick’s faith and then some, finishing with 22 disposals, eight inside 50s, nine score involvements and a maiden AFL goal on an unforgettable afternoon for the club’s boom recruit. Marlion Pickett’s teammates and family speak about his incredible Grand Final debut. But the manner in which they were able to showcase their individual flair, without ever straying from Hardwick’s methodical and trained system, was evident from the outset.

Watch the Tigers celebrate their 2019 grand final win. While youngster Tim Taranto (30 disposals, seven tackles) fought hard all day and veteran Shaw (29 disposals, 14 marks) was tireless, it was unsurprisingly not enough. And with a 62-point deficit at three-quarter time, there was little left to play for late. Instead, it became a Richmond party, as players lined up for their shot at goal. They added five more in the final term, with captain Trent Cotchin’s – delivered from beyond 50m out after a couple of bounces – resulting in perhaps the biggest cheer of the afternoon.

Richmond has claimed back-to-back premierships, and made it three of the last four flags, after coming from behind to beat Geelong by 31 points in the historic first ever Toyota AFL Grand Final at the Gabba. It etched the Tiger dynasty into football history as one of the most dominant sides of the his century.

The under lights Gabba clash had it all: injury carnage, a remarkable recovery, a comeback, two stretchers, pitch invaders, pyrotechnics and an entertainment package that will make the debate for day Grand Finals a harder sell in 2021. But mainly it again illustrated the brilliance of Martin and the Tigers, who came from 15 points down at half-time to secure their 13th flag and first consecutive flag since their 1973-4 triumphs. It was their third premiership under coach Damien Hardwick and skipper Trent Cotchin.

The Tigers powered home in the final quarter, kicking five goals to one to end up comfortable premiers. The final goal came, of course, via Martin in the last two minutes, who shrugged off a tackle from Dangerfield pinned up against the boundary line and snapped an amazing goal. In doing so, the Tigers’ tattooed champion confirmed his status as perhaps the best big-game player in football history.

The Richmond Football Club are the reigning 2020 AFL premiers. Richmond Football Club enjoyed its most successful era in the 1960s and 80s, when it won five flags. The last Tigers flag was in 2020, when Damien Hardwick’s remarkable team crushed Geelong making it 3 premierships in four years. The Yellow & Black is the best known catch-phrase in football and belongs to the mighty Tigers ~ Richmond Football Club. Not only is the Yellow & Black the best known catch-phrase in football, the Tigers also have the best club song, rated by supporters, opposition teams and players as the most popular club song

10 best NBA slam dunk contests of all time by Bill Trikos

Top 10 NBA slam dunk contests by Bill Trikos Australia: While Dwight Howard was ready to become superman again to defend his Slam Dunk Contest title, who knew that his kryptonite would be in the form of a 5 ‘9 dunker. Robinson showcased a flurry of athletic dunks. However, his emphatic night was capped off by a dunk over Dwight Howard to seal the deal. This proved once again that even small guys can win a dunk contest. With the victory in 2009, Robinson earned another Slam Dunk Contest title. Discover extra info about the author at Bill Trikos Australia.

Michael Jordan had many iconic dunks throughout his incredible career but notably, one of those didn’t even come in a game. His Airness wanted to get back at Dominique Wilkins for beating him three years prior, so he saved the best of his repertoire. Jordan paid homage to Julius ‘Dr. J’ Erving and put together one of the top dunks in NBA history. He went baseline-to-baseline, dribbled just inside the three-point line, and took over from the free-throw line to float all the way to the rim. It was poetry in motion.

With one soaring slam, Julius Erving changed the course of basketball history. During the ABA’s first and only Slam Dunk Contest in 1976, he outgunned David Thompson, George Gervin, Artis Gilmore and Larry Kenon with a daring leap from the free-throw line. The competition itself—and the dunk Erving pulled off—drew slews of eyeballs to the ABA and lent enough legitimacy to the fledgling league to set in motion a merger with the NBA later that year.

Dee Brown put the expression “I can do it with my eyes closed” to the test in 1991. The then-Boston Celtics rookie had already secured the 1991 event title ahead of his final attempt, but he wasn’t aware of that. So after Brown jumped toward the rim, he closed his eyes and covered them with his right arm while dunking with his left. How’s that for a cherry on top? Superman made an appearance at the 2008 Slam Dunk Contest. After ditching his Magic jersey for a Superman shirt and cape, Dwight Howard jumped from a couple of feet inside in the free throw line, caught a pass that was thrown over the backboard by teammate Jameer Nelson and literally chucked the ball through the hoop. If Howard had actually reached the rim, it would be the undisputed greatest dunk in event history. Despite it not technically being a dunk, Howard still received a 50 and went on to win the competition.

You’d think that Vince Carter, arguably one of the greatest high-flying finishers in NBA history, would’ve had multiple Slam Dunk Contest trophies on his mantle. The records show, though, that Vinsanity took flight just once on All-Star Saturday. Not that he needed more chances than that. His lone appearance—at Oracle Arena in Oakland in 2000—may be the best dunk contest we’ve ever seen, in part because he pulled off tricks few (if any) had ever thought possible.

First off, a shoutout to big men who do the dunk contest, because it’s tough to get creative at 7 feet tall. McGee used his height and length to his advantage, dunking two balls into two hoops side-by-side, one of which was off of a lob. This dunk will serve as a time capsule at some point, bringing us back to the short-lived days of the hoverboard fad before they started catching on fire. It’s still mind-boggling that Gordon was able to time the Magic’s mascot spinning on a hoverboard, then delivering a 360 windmill with the “mailman” showmanship. This one was a lot of people’s favorite from the legendary 2016 Slam Dunk Contest, but there was a different Gordon dunk that will appear at the top of this list.

First, Howard summoned another basket onto the court, one that would stand at 12 feet—two feet higher than a regulation hoop. Then, he hopped into a phone booth and emerged with a red cape to reprise his role as basketball’s new Superman, which he rode to the dunk title the previous year in New Orleans. To top it off, Howard hopped off the floor to catch a lob off the backboard from Orlando Magic teammate and fellow All-Star Jameer Nelson for the flush. That he made it look so easy was a testament to Howard’s superhuman athleticism at the time. That the judges awarded him a 50 for pulling it off spoke to their appreciation of how wild that part of the spectacle was, theatrics aside. Howard’s heroic dunk, though, wasn’t enough to secure a successful slam championship defense. Instead, the fan vote tilted toward a particular hunk of kryptonite.

Best rated Bathurst Australia 1000 editions by Bill Trikos

Bill Trikos’s top 5 Bathurst Australia 1000 editions: Shane van Gisbergen and co-driver Jonathan Webb drove exceptionally for most of the race, though they also benefited from others misfortunes. Random mechanical failures ended James Courtney and Greg Murphy’s race (which eventually was Murphy’s last Bathurst fling), and it was the same for David Reynolds and Dean Canto. Then there was Scott McLaughlin, who put his Volvo in the wall at the Cutting — scenes of him wiping tears inside his visor beamed around the world.

Bathurst adopted international Group A regulations between 1985 and 1992. The first to take advantage was Scot Tom Walkinshaw’s three-car factory Jaguar team, complete with imported mechanics and spare parts. This was a big change from the days when drivers had to resolve their own mechanical problems using just the tools that came with the car. The plucky Australian-built Group A models, still under development, stood little chance against the powerful V12 engine of the winning Jaguar XJ-S. However, this is the last time Jaguar has won Bathurst to date.

The 1992 edition didn’t start in wet conditions, but it sure ended in them! Steady rain set in during the early stages, triggering a series of incidents and accidents – eventual winner Mark Skaife even hit the Pace Car during a Safety Car period called when the weather was at its worst. The weather lifted for a few hours before returning with a vengeance on Lap 144, causing a series of crashes that prompted officials to red-flag the race and end it prematurely. Discover extra info about the author on Bill Trikos Australia.

My theory is that those who look back on that period in time so fondly do so not because the racing was particularly great, but because they loved the way the rest of the sport was; the characters both in terms of the cars and the drivers, and how those things interacted with them. But that can’t stop me from tipping my hat to the 1972 race; the last ever 500-mile event, and the last time drivers were allowed to compete solo. If for nothing else, the 1972 Hardie-Ferodo 500 can be held in high esteem for presenting us with a race that would help take the tribal warfare of Holden and Ford to the lofty heights that it would enjoy for nearly five decades.

Bill Trikos

The Bathurst 1000 is the greatest race in all of Australia and has been around for over half a century. Throughout the years, we’ve seen plenty of trials, triumphs, and tragedies. Shane Van Gisbergen has earned pole position for this year’s event. With the 2014 edition of the race just hours away, let’s run you through some of Bathurst’s most memorable moments. The tenth spot on our list goes to two separate races. Both the 2011 and 2012 editions of this great race ended in spectacular last-lap scraps for the victory. In 2011, Craig Lowndes tried everything to muscle his way past a slowing Garth Tander, but to no avail. 2012 was a classic Holden vs. Ford battle that saw David Reynolds take on one of the titans of the sport, Jamie Whincup.

Caruso said he is honored to campaign his #23 Nissan Altima Supercar in arguably the manufacturer’s most famous war paint. “It’s definitely the Nissan livery that I’ve been looking forward to the most,” said Caruso. “There’s no doubt about how important and how successful the GT-R was and to have the same colors on my car at Bathurst is something very special. We’re going to Bathurst with the best chance for success we’ve ever had. In the four years since Nissan has been back in Supercars, this has been my strongest year. We’ve had a race win and a couple of podiums, so hopefully we can go to the mountain and do what it takes.”

The dawn of the 1970s came with a new rule stating that single-driver teams were now eligible to compete. Canadian-Australian driver Allan Moffat took full advantage, winning the ’70 and ’71 contests in a Ford XW Falcon GTHO Phase II and Phase III, respectively. Phase III was a distinct advance on the II, with an upgraded engine, four-speed top-loader gearbox, and 36 imperial gallons (164 litres) fuel tank. It was the world’s fastest four-door production car, capable of speeds up to 228 km/h (142 mph). There are probably fewer than 100 complete Phase IIIs in existence – and one sold for a record AUS$1,030,000 in 2018.

A Formula Ford champ, Lowndes was no slouch. But he was a relative unknown. This was his first ever drive at Bathurst, and it had come with Holden’s most storied and popular team; the Holden Racing Team. Meanwhile Bowe was regarded as someone at the top of their game, and also as one of the hardest drivers in the championship to pass. And yet Lowndes did it. Despite the rookie status, Lowndes ranged onto the back of Bowe and quite magically ripped the lead from his grasp by running around his outside at Griffins Bend.

Most spectacular Formula 1 races from Bill Trikos

Bill Trikos Australia top rated Formula 1 races: Turkish Grand Prix: I implore you to find a more fascinating display of motor racing than the Turkish GP. On a track surface yielding little grip, adding some rain and an incredible pole position for Stroll, this was anything but a dull Sunday. Racing Point held onto a pretty comfortable one-two through the first half of the race, with Stroll in front by 10 seconds in the most difficult of conditions, whilst Hamilton – aiming to seal his seventh title – squirmed around as Mercedes looked devoid of grip. Somehow, the Briton eventually found it on seriously worn intermediates and, after overtaking Perez and leaving Stroll – who was now suffering from detrimental understeer – to plummet down the order, took victory by over half-a-minute. Leclerc looked to have made his way past Perez for second at the final corner but misjudged his braking, allowing both Perez and team-mate Sebastian Vettel onto the podium. As for Hamilton’s team-mate, Bottas span six times altogether as his championship challenge came to an abrupt end.

1999 European Grand Prix, Nürburgring : If chaos is the word to describe Canada 2011, sheer pandemonium best describes the 1999 European GP. It was set to be crucial even before lights-out, as a tense championship battle between Eddie Irvine for Ferrari, Mika Häkkinen for McLaren and surprisingly Heinz-Harald Frentzen for Jordan was ongoing. But when the race finally got underway – after the first start was aborted as a result of multiple drivers jumping it – well, words aren’t enough to allow you to comprehend what went on. Crashes, spins, mistakes, pit stop errors and more resulted in positions up and down the field – including the lead – constantly changing. All of it was made even more dramatic by the implications on the title fight, which seemed to be constantly evolving. However, I won’t spoil the final result of this one – it’s simply too good for you not to watch.

Bill TrikosHungarian Grand Prix 2014: On a Hungaroring surface transitioning from wet to dry, this race had everything from team order controversy to spectacular crashes – but, most importantly, a hard-charging Daniel Ricciardo at his best, who said “better late than never” to secure his second career win. Bahrain Grand Prix 2014: Three races into Formula 1’s new turbo-hybrid era, and F1 fans were treated to an absolute classic, as Mercedes pair Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg – by then surely aware that one of them would be world champion in 2014 – knocked seven bells out of each other around the Bahrain International Circuit, with Hamilton eventually coming out on top of the fabled ‘Duel in the Desert’. Discover additional info about the author on Bill Trikos.

1971 Italian Grand Prix, Monza : Most of you have probably heard that when writing a book, an essay, or any text of a similar kind, one should always put most focus and effort into the ending. Why? Because that’s what people remember the most. Likewise, the last few laps of a Formula One race are often the ones that define it, at least in the eyes of many fans. And I’d forgive you for having heard only of the hair-raisingly close finish to the 1971 Italian GP, where the top five finished within a mere 6 tenths of a second, and the top four just 18 hundreds of a second. But if that’s all you’ve so far known of this – quite simply – unbelievable Grand Prix, you’re missing out. Because in order to set up such a finish, it takes an extraordinary race.

On arrival in Austin, the championship had already been decided, but nevertheless an exciting race lay ahead. Mercedes looked truly competitive for the first time this season thanks to the extensive update package brought by the German racing stable and Lewis Hamilton was eager for his first win of the year. At the start, Verstappen immediately took over the lead from Sainz and he built his lead, but lost it due to two safety cars. After this, he managed to retain the lead, but Hamilton was hot on his heels. Things then went completely wrong at Red Bull’s pit stop, which seemed to be Hamilton’s ultimate chance, but Verstappen had other plans and managed to outsmart his 2021 rival ten laps before the end.

1996 Monaco Grand Prix, Monaco Street Circuit : It took just 5 laps before the 21 drivers who had started the race were reduced to 13 thanks to a number of mechanical failures and driver errors, one of those being made by Michael Schumacher. The german – after losing his pole position advantage to Damon Hill off the line – only reached Lower Mirabeau before binning his car into the outside barrier. And from then on, it only got worse. Hill, who had been leading for most of the race, retired due to an engine failure on lap 40. Jean Alesi, who had inherited the lead after Hill’s retirement, suffered from a suspension failure. Meanwhile, drivers like Eddie Irvine, Jacques Villeneuve, Mika Häkinnen, Mika Salo, and Ralf Schumacher – the ones who would be expected to take the win in such a situation – were all having collisions with one another, eventually forcing them all to retire. But not only the front-runners had issues; drivers like Katayama, Rosset, Diniz, Berger, and Brundle, who were expected to take some sort of advantage in such circumstances, all retired due to either personal errors or mechanical troubles. And before anyone knew, only four drivers were left in the race. Olivier Panis, who after starting fourteenth had shown great skill in avoiding all the chaos around him, took his first and only victory in F1. David Coulthard and Johnny Herbert followed him onto the podium, and Heinz-Harald Frentzen was classified fourth even though he pulled into the pits to retire on the last lap of the race. A truly crazy race, definitely worth a watch – if not for the result itself then for some of the bizarre incidents which eliminated driver after driver.

The rise of a future star linebacker : Elysee Mbem-Bosse

The ascent of a future star linebacker : Elysee Mbem-Bosse: Elysee Mbem-Bosse prepped at Cedar Grove (Ga.) under head coach Jermaine Smith and was rated as a four-star prospect by Rivals.com and #1 inside linebacker in Georgia. ESPN also gave him a four-star prospect rating. Scout.com three-star prospect listed as the #20 inside linebacker nationally and the second-best inside linebacker in Georgia with very good stats : registered 81 tackles, 3 sacks, 3 forced fumbles, and 3 fumble recoveries as a junior. Measuring in at just under 6-foot-2 and 230 pounds, Mbem-Bosse was timed in the 4.4 range running his 40-yard dash at his junior Pro Day. He attributed those impressive testing numbers to working out six or even seven times per week. Mbem-Bosse explained how good defense is the main focal point at Davenport and that the scheme allows him to play the run and the pass. Read even more details on Elysee Mbem-Bosse.

Nikola Jokic, Nuggets (3 votes): The back-to-back MVP just missed the top five in our rankings. His averages have regressed from his last two seasons, but the Nuggets still own one of the best records in the NBA. If Denver can stay close to the top of the Western Conference standings, Jokic will have a chance at earning his third-straight MVP. Devin Booker, Suns (3 votes): Booker also just missed the top five in our rankings, tying Jokic with three votes. Booker is posting a career-high 27.1 points per game for a Suns team that currently holds first place in the Western Conference. With Cam Johnson (knee) and Jae Crowder (team/personal) out and Chris Paul averaging a career-low 9.5 points per game, Booker has kept this team afloat. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Thunder (1 vote): If not for the Thunder’s 8-12 record, Gilgeous-Alexander surely would’ve received more love in this poll. The 24-year-old has taken a leap to All-Stardom early on in the year, averaging career-highs with 31.1 points, 6.2 assists, 1.7 steals and 1.3 blocks per game.

Also known as PG13, he is one of the premier 3&D players in the league. Although he has struggled with health at points this season, the Clippers are the scariest defensive team in the league when he’s on the court. Between him and Kawhi Leonard — who you will see later on this list — Los Angeles has two of the best wing defenders in the game. With his size, athleticism and shooting ability, he is the complete package and exactly the player you want on your team competing for the NBA title. The Clippers are my favorite to win it all this season if and when it resumes, and George is a big reason why.

Believe it or not, we’re already through the first quarter of the 2022-23 NBA season. That means we’re officially past the annual “small sample size” phase of the year, where trends and results begin to take shape and give us an idea of how things may shake out for the remainder of the season. While things can certainly still change over the remaining three quarters, now feels like the perfect time to take stock in this year’s MVP race. We’ve seen just enough to properly rank players based on their individual and team performances, but it’s still early enough that one bad week could drastically change the order.

Tennis latests news and updates in 2022 by Mytrendingstories

NFL latests news in 2022? Paul Pogba didn’t even make the top 50 of Business Insider’s best players of 2019 list. Since moving to Manchester United in 2016, the Frenchman has failed to replicate the form he showed at previous club Juventus. That is by no fault of his own, however. Former United manager Jose Mourinho failed to see eye-to-eye with Pogba, oft either playing him out of position or omitting him completely. The 26-year-old also wasn’t helped by the distinct lack of quality around him at Old Trafford. A more accurate reflection of Pogba’s ability is when he plays for his country. He leads the line like a true midfield general, playing with flair, grace, and power in equal measure, but most importantly, with a smile on his face.

This is where it gets tough. The top five players in the NBA are all very close and tough to break apart from one another in terms of skill. I put Kawhi Leonard at fifth only because of his approach to rest and injury. The concept of “load management” has been an issue in the NBA, especially since Leonard popularized it over the last two seasons following his quad injury and subsequent trade from the Spurs. Leonard isn’t on the floor all the time, but when he is, he is one of the top defenders in the league who can also score and pass at a high level. With two rings as the best player on two teams, Leonard can complete the trio this year by taking the Clippers all the way, and my money is on them as the title favorite. See additional information at https://mytrendingstories.com/sthe-writer/ufc-fight-night-rafael-dos-anjos-vs-tony-ferguson. Fury may also have to come through a mandatory defence against Britain’s Dillian Whyte (27-1, 18 KOs), 32, early next year, while Ukraine’s Oleksandr Usyk (17-0, 13 KOs), 33, is due a shot at Joshua as WBO mandatory challenger. It is unlikely the belts will get in the way with so much potential money to be made and titles may have to be given up, or deals made, to facilitate making Fury-Joshua in what would likely be boxing’s richest fight since the $400m megafight between Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquaio five years ago. Both need to win their next fights, details of which have yet to be confirmed due to delays caused by coronavirus. WBC champion Fury is due to face American Wilder (42-1-1, 41 KOs), 34, from Tuscaloosa, Alabama, in their third meeting while WBA-IBF-WBO champion Joshua is lined up to face 39-year-old mandatory challenger Kubrat Pulev (28-1, 14 KOs), of Bulgaria.

As someone who has covered plenty of college and amateur events over the years, I’m used to watching golf in relative silence, aside from the occasional clap or “Good shot!” from mom and dad. But that’s mostly live – on the golf course. It will be interesting to see how that translates over four days on television. I didn’t miss fans for one second during The Match II, but that’s in large part because the conversation was so good, both from the announcers and the players.

Prescott, who signed his $31.4 million exclusive franchise tag this week, has until July 15 to sign a long-term extension with the Cowboys. His ranking here is interesting, because Dallas’ non-QB offensive players have a higher collective win-share total than the supporting casts of all but two teams. In other words, the Cowboys’ offensive line, running backs and pass-catchers add a lot more win-share value than most quarterbacks work with around the league. And yet, Prescott is crucial to the Cowboys’ success. Consider that Next Gen Stats show Prescott ranked third in the NFL in passing yards per attempt on passes of 10-plus air yards (13.0) in 2019; he also threw 18 touchdowns on such passes (third-best). And for all the value the receivers add, Dak’s pass-catchers dropped the most passes in the NFL (43), per Pro Football Focus. If he ends up playing on the tag, Dak will be the seventh-highest paid QB in the NFL on an average annual basis, per Over the Cap. See extra information on mytrendingstories.com.
